SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA – The Indiana Department of Transportation is hosting multiple hiring fairs for winter seasonal positions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Oct. 28). Events will take place at the following locations:
- Aurora Sub District Office (10995 Marsh Rd., Aurora)
- Bloomington Sub District Office (2965 N. Prow Rd., Bloomington)
- Columbus Sub District Office (3545 Two Mile House Rd., Columbus)
- Falls City Sub District Office (5701 U.S. 31, Clarksville)
Winter seasonal employment runs from November through March at a starting pay of $20 per hour for standard positions and $24 per hour for on-call-only positions. INDOT offers $250 sign-on and $500 retention bonuses for eligible candidates. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and commercial driver’s license (CDL) at the time of application. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
