DAVIESS and MARTIN CO. – Daviess-Martin County REMC has planned a scheduled power outage for Friday, which impacts customers in both Daviess and Martin Counties. The scheduled outage will begin at 11:00 p.m. and end no later than 4:00 a.m. Saturday.
This is to accommodate the transmission project on Highway 231.
The high voltage transmission line owned by the REMC’s power provider is being upgraded with alternative feeds that will increase the reliability and availability of power to members in this area.
Automated calls are being sent to all affected members.
