Ralph H. Sharpe, 79, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on October 1, 1942, in Clark County, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph and Mary Webb Sharpe.
Ralph first retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington and then went to work at Visteon (Ford) in Bedford as an assembler, from where he retired again. He was a member of the Oolitic VFW, the National Rifle Association, and previously attended the Faith Mission Church.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Lester Cleveland “Cleve” Sharpe and his wife Ayshea of Oolitic, and Mary Arminda “Mindy” Bayes and her husband William of Jasper; two sisters, Janna Adams of Bedford and Wanda Spinks of Mitchell; one brother, Nathan Mark Sharpe, Sr. of Bedford; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Ralph H. Sharpe will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Nathan Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery near Huron. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
