BEDFORD – On Saturday at 9:25 a.m. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to an accident with injuries at the intersection of State Road 37 and US 50 West.
Bobby Quisenberry, 83, of Williamsport, was found unconscious in his blue Ford Fusion and transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he died from his injuries
According to police, Kathy Dorman, 62, of Poland, In., was traveling south in her Toyota Sequoia on State Road 37 when Quisenberry pulled his vehicle into her path of travel. Police say she was unable to stop and crashed into Quisenberry’s vehicle.
Dorman and witnesses reported she had the green light.
Dorman complained of body pain and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Other witnesses told police Quisenberry had the red light, never stopped at the intersection and was traveling at an extremely fast rate of speed.
