BEDFORD – Two people were arrested Tuesday after a Bedford Police officer stopped a vehicle at Revere’s Food & Fuel for false or fictitious registration.
The driver 27-year-old Camysha New, of Oolitic, told the officer she had just purchased the vehicle and provided the officer with the title.
The officers then learned that New had filed a protective order in place against her passenger 28-year-old Jordan Bowman, of Bedford, and Bowman had filed a protective order against New.
Both were detained on a charge of invasion of privacy and transported to jail.
A family member responded to the scene to retrieve New’s two children who were in the vehicle.
