Scott Allen Weldon age 57 of Bedford passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on June 5, 1964, in Malvern, Arkansas to Robert Charles Meeks and Lynda Sue (Lackey) Meeks Shannon. Scott was a Heating and Air technician, he attended Grace Full Gospel Church, he loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He was baptized in the Christian faith.
Survivors include his daughters, Chelsee New of Bedford and Jessica Hackney of Bedford, his mother, Lynda Sue Shannon of Bedford, his father and step-mother, Robert C. and Violet Meeks of Malvern, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Arianna Lovell, Jayston Lovell, Liam Bowles, Madilynn New, Ezekiel New, and Jaycie Hackney, two brothers, Garry Weldon of Bedford and Steve Weldon of Bedford, his friend, and confidant, Jan Kerner of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Meeks, his grandparents, John and Hilda Lackey, and uncle, Donald Lackey.
Cremation was chosen, Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
