Jackie “Jack” Wayne Conner, 81, 0f Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Born on May 16, 1940, he was the son of Vada and Dorthy (Marsh) Conner. He married Nina Kennedy on May 23, 1959, and she survives.
Jack graduated from Bedford High School and was retired from General Motors having worked in maintenance. Jack was of the Christian faith and was known as a jokester and for his ability to tell tall tales.
Surviving are his wife, Nina; two daughters, Kim (Matt) Golden, Rhonda (Brian) Martin; two sons, Greg (Lisa) Conner, Gerry Conner; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Darrell (Fran) Conner, Jerry (Kay) Conner, Deloris Dugger, and Mona Dobkins.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Margie Henderson.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at Ferguson-Lee.
