Terry Dale Baker, 63, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his sister’s residence in Mitchell.
Born March 31, 1958, in Bedford, he was the son of William Gurney and Ruth Evelyn (Cahill) Baker.
Terry attended Needmore High School and participated in basketball and track. He loved fishing, astronomy, watching the weather, and playing cards. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 654.
Terry was a member of the Indiana National Guard.
Survivors include his sisters, Rhoda Smith of Bedford and Doris Prewitt of Mitchell; nieces, Kaci Prewitt of Mitchell, Tessa Horton of Mitchell, Lois McGill of Chandler, Courtney Caudell of Columbus, and Tara Asbury of Mitchell; great-niece and nephews, Clayton, Zoie, and Kaiden McKinney
His parents and sister, Sana McGill, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
