INDIANA – The application window for the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Program is now closed, but now is the time to prepare for a 2022 award. Employers of all sizes are eligible to receive the HIRE Vets medallion award, with criteria tailored to recognize different levels of support to veterans based on business size.
For example, businesses with 50 or fewer employees may qualify for a gold medallion if 7% of new hires were veterans but could be recognized with a platinum award if that number is at least 10%. This figure, along with other program criteria, shows veterans entering the civilian workforce that your business is veteran-ready.
