BEDFORD – The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County are set to host an art show on Thursday, December 9th starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m.
The art show will take place at the launching center, located in the Thornton Teen Center on 16th street and will include multiple works and projects by the children of the club.
The art pieces will be in a variety of different styles including traditional ceramic and hand drawn art works as well as projects generated by use of the Makerspace Lab at the club.
This event is open to the members of the public to see the new Makerspace Lab and all of the projects that have been created by the children. Art work and projects will be represented from all five of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County locations, which includes:
- The Limestone Unit at 2009 19th Street
- The Teen Center at 1830 16th Street
- Wiley Youth Park at 609 Oolitic Road
- The Lincoln School site at 2014 F Street
- Stalker Elementary at 420 W Street
