MITCHELL – On Monday night Mitchell Police officers responded to a home in the 100 block of East Grissom Avenue to serve an arrest warrant on Dalton Burton.
When police arrived they found several people inside the residence.
Officers found drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Officers obtained a search warrant for the home.
Dillon Burton, 25, admitted he had a “Bone” (meth) in his front pants pocket and “two rigs” (syringes) in his other front pants pocket.
Dillon was arrested on the outstanding warrant and new charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested for possession of meth was 33-year-old David Carroll, of Bedford.
Police located a black digital scale , a glass smoking device and meth in a lock box that belonged to Carroll.
