Nueva started her life in Hanson, Kentucky, born to Harry O and Nell Craig Holloman. She married George Hubert Oldham on February 18, 1950, and moved with him to live and work on an 850 -acre farm outside Bedford, Indiana, that they owned with Maurice and Sue Oldham.
On the farm, she raised three children and later became grandmother and great-grandmother.
Nueva was a faithful member of Hillcrest Christian Church. She was proud of her family and cherished her friendships.
Nueva loved quilting and other needlework. She enjoyed shopping for fabrics and creating special quilt projects. She worked to create a cozy, country home.
She leaves behind her children: Linda (Mike) Kluesner, Janet (David) Snyder, Brian (Anita) Oldham; seven grandchildren Chris (Michelle) Kluesner, Jeremy Kluesner, Kyle (Katherine) Snyder, Amy (Michael) Bates, Kayla (Nate) Hammitt, Jarret (Anna) Oldham, Grant (Alora) Oldham, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Hubert, her parents, and her brother, Jon Holloman.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillcrest Christian Church or a favorite charity.
