Elva Fay (Walls) Pavey, 76, of Bedford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 18, 2021.
She was born on June 13, 1945, in Lawrence Co. She married Roscoe James Pavey II on October 24, 1969, and
he preceded her in death on October 29, 2014.
Elva was a wonderful, caring, and loving mother to Jamie (David) Herzner, of Oolitic, and Tammy (Billy) York, of Bedford.
She loved and doted on her grandchildren, Debbie (Chris) Kreuzman, Emily Livingston, Jimmy York, and Jeremy (Megan) York. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Rose York.
She was also blessed with and adored her three great-grandchildren, Lorelei, Kiyoko, and Ollie. Elva was always loving, kind, nurturing, and had a big heart. She will be deeply missed and kept in her family’s hearts, always.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 rd at the Patton Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
