BEDFORD – Bedford Fire Department firefighters were alerted to a fire at Dutchtown Laundromat at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters arrived on the scene within two minutes of receiving the call.
When firefighters arrived they found a dryer was on fire.
“They were able to extinguish the blaze quickly and the fire was contained to one dryer,” said Chief John Hughes.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 8:30 p.m.
