Clifford Dale Patton, 81, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his residence.
He was born December 15, 1940, in Lawrence County, to Enoch and Gertie (New) Patton. He married Karen Sue Bailey on January 25, 1961, and she survives. Clifford was a Needmore High School graduate of the Baptist faith. He was a Journeyman and retired from Navistar.
Surviving Clifford is his wife; children, Karlita Sue (Tim Grider) Patton and Tim Patton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Don, George, Ronnie, and Keith Patton; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Clifford in death were his parents; siblings, Sam, Mildred, Virginia, James, Kenneth
and Linda.
A private, family burial will be held at Mundell Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Carter officiating.
The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been
entrusted with Clifford’s care.
