LEESVILLE – Firefighters battled a house fire at 4263 Leesville Road at 12:04 a.m. Saturday.
The caller reported the house was on fire and flames were shooting out of the house. The caller reported the house was unoccupied and was being used for storage.
The caller also stated they believed the fire started near the fuse box.
Firefighters from Shawswick, Pleasant Run, and Carr and Owen Township in Jackson County responded.
The house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
REMC, Indiana State Police, and a Seals ambulance crew assisted at the scene.
