INDIANA – Today Indiana State Bar Association members invite you to call for a free legal consultation. Lawyers will be happy to discuss your legal issue, which may include any of the following topics:
- Bankruptcy
- Child support
- Complaints again a city
- Contract disputes
- Divorce
- Employment issues
- Healthcare
- Immigration
- Landlord-tenant issues
- Long-term care facilities
- Mental health treatment
- School law
- Small claims
- Social security
- Wills and estates
In light of the pandemic, attorneys are specially prepared to speak with you about landlord-tenant issues, expungement, and bankruptcy issues.
Consultations typically are 15-20 minutes. Many legal issues are complicated, but we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction. We’ll give suggestions about your next steps, which forms to complete, the right government agency to contact, resources, etc. You’ll leave with a general plan for solving your issue.
You likely won’t leave with your issue completely solved. Know that we can’t file forms on your behalf or maintain an ongoing relationship.
To get the most out of your free legal consultation, officials recommend being prepared with your specific questions written down. Volunteer attorneys work hard to answer every person’s questions, so the quicker you are able to ask your question, the more time your attorney will have to provide you with an answer.
