BEDFORD – A 15-year-old female was arrested Monday at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim told police she went to the restroom located on the second floor near the second stairwell at BNL High School.
The victim told police she had been having issues with the accused female for several weeks. The victim told police the accused would not let her leave the bathroom.
The accused then started yelling at the girl and told her to “hit her”. The victim refused. The accused female then jumped the victim, got her on the ground and began punching her in the face and head.
Other female students in the restroom pulled the accused off the victim. A teacher entered the restroom after hearing the victim’s screams and both were escorted to the office.
The victim complained of pain in her face, head, right arm, and left elbow.
The 15-year-old girl was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of battery and released to the custody of her parents.
