Timothy Earl “Tim” Rosenbaum, 72, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his residence.
Born on June 28, 1949, in Bedford, he was the son of Clyde E. Rosenbaum and Mary Kathleen (Cecil) Rosenbaum. He married Arvetta Fender on November 5, 1977, and she survives. Tim was a graduate of Tunnelton High School class of 1967 and was a member of the American Legion Gillen Post #33 in Bedford. He was a volunteer fireman with Shawswick Township and was of the Christian Faith. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandson Justin Sons. Tim retired from General Motors and from the Army National Guard. He also served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Tim is his wife, Arvetta; his daughter, Tawnya Sons; grandson, Justin Sons; brother, Anthony Rosenbaum; niece, Elizabeth (George) Brace; and nephew Robert (Brandy) Rosenbaum.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mary Kathleen Rosenbaum.
Funeral services for Timothy Earl “Tim” Rosenbaum will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford. Burial will follow at Dive Cemetery with military honors by the Honor Guard of the American Legion Gillen Post 33. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
