ODON – The Odon Town Council voted to approve a water rate increase. This is the first increase for residents since 1982.
According to the Odon Journal, the board met last week and agreed to raise the monthly bill to $38.78 for minimum usage of 4,000 gallons a month. The rate increase will be reflected in the February statement.
The rate increase affects water only. Sewage rates will remain the same.
The increase will help fund improvements to the aging infrastructure.
