JASPER – A Bedford woman is facing several charges after driving high on meth.
Around 8:00 p.m. Sunday, the Jasper Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 14th and Mill streets in Jasper after spotting a possible impaired driver. That driver was 26-year-old Jasmine Harner of Bedford.
Officers say Harner was transported to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test where she tested positive for meth, amphetamines, MDMA, and buprenorphine.
She was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, endangerment, driving with a suspended driver’s license with a prior conviction, and unlawful possession of a syringe.
