Susan A. Brock, 87, of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Westview Manor in Bedford.
Born March 3, 1934, in Silverville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Claude Dale Canada and Mary Canada Craig. She married Robert Eugene Brock on April 29, 1950, and he preceded her in death. Susan was a housewife and attended Fayetteville High School. She was a member of the Silverville Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and homemaking in general.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Susan are, her children, R. Dennis (Barbara) Brock of Silverville, Rebecca Brock and David Brock, both of Bedford, Daniel E. (Sue) Brock of Bedford; grandchildren, Jenifer Brock of Elkhart, Shane (May) Brock of Fort Wayne, Shawn (Misty) Brock of Mitchell, Zachary Brock of Bedford, Jeremy Brock of Elkhart, Alicia Beth Godsey of Bedford, Amanda Brock of Bedford; great-grandchildren, Richie Harrison of Elkhart, Madison Brock of Mitchell, Adrianna Brock of Mitchell, Heather Brock of Fort Wayne, Xander Brock of Fort Wayne, Sabrina Brock of Bedford, Makayla Brock of Bedford, Amy Godsey of Bedford, Alex Godsey of Bedford; great-great-grandchildren, Titus Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Trinity Harrison, Scarlet Ford, Dominic Gilliland, Luna Ford, and Lillian Gilliland; along with several nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband; brothers, Olin Canada and Jack Canada; and her great-grandson, Daniel Godsey.
Funeral services for Susan A. Brock will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Duane Terry officiating. Burial will follow at the Silverville Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Silverville Missionary Baptist Church for the upkeep of the cemetery.
