Michael Lantz, 72, of Mitchell passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 4:33 p.m. at IU Bloomington Hospital.
He was born in Bedford on February 1, 1950, to Raymond Lantz and Betty (Harrell) Lantz. Michael married Connie Mundy in 1998 and she survives. Michael was a US Army veteran and maintenance worker at Dunn Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Connie Lantz of Mitchell, one daughter, Sally Strunk of Bloomington, two grandchildren, Cheradyn Canfield of Fayetteville and Morgan Strunk of Bloomington, one sister, Vicki (Bud) Kopp of Bedford, his former wife, Christina Lantz of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one step-daughter, Kelly Algozino
Cremation was chosen and the family will have a celebration of his life on Saturday, February 12, 2022 beginning at 12:00 Noon at the Mitchell Nazarene Church, 301 Grissom Avenue in Mitchell.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
