BEDFORD – During the Bedford Plan Commission meeting Tuesday afternoon, an exciting announcement was made about future plans for the city.
Commission clerk/treasurer Brandon Woodward shared that a Marshalls will be coming to Bedford in the near future. The store is planned to be in Jay C Plaza next to Tractor Supply.
“I was contacted and notified that Marshalls will be coming to Bedford, hopefully within the next few months. They are really wanting to get in here and get this stuff going as fast as possible,” said Woodward. “They have their plans done and everything sent in, and I am waiting to get a copy of the plans for the inside of the building. It won’t be long until we have another department store here in Bedford.”
Marshalls will have competition in town with Burkes Outlet being in town since November 6th, 2020, but will bring another option to community members for clothing and retail options.
