BLOOMINGTON — The Monroe County Democratic Party Vice Chair Vacancy Caucus will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022.
The Central Committee will attend via Zoom and the general public is invited to watch on Facebook Live.
Vice-Chair David G. Henry was elevated to Chair on Jan. 23, causing a vacancy in the vice-chair position. This vacancy will be filled via caucus. The Central Committee Members of Precinct Committee persons and Vice Committee persons are eligible to vote in this caucus.
Per the Indiana State Democratic Party Bylaws, the party chair and vice-chair must be of different genders. The deadline for candidates to file was Thursday at 2 p.m.
