BEDFORD – A Bloomington man was a arrested after making numerous threatening phone calls to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputy.
Police arrested 43-year-old Kyle Blevins, on a charge of harassment.
Blevins called the officer’s personal cell phone on February 6, 2022. The officer recorded the conversation.
During the conversation, Blevins threatened the officer by saying, “Just fair warning…Your day is coming.” The officer then asked Blevins if that statement was a threat and Blevins replied, “No it is not a threat, no it is a promise.”
The officer then thanked Blevins for calling and hung up.
Blevins also attempted to call the officer five times on February 3. 2022.
The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and a warrant was issued for Blevins’ arrest.
