INDIANA – JA BizTown Summer Camp is a week-long experience that provides a fresh alternative for central Indiana youth looking for an engaging summer camp experience.
The camp is for ages 8-13 or grades 3-7.
Dates for JA BizTown Summer Camp
- Session 1: June 6-10
- Session 2: June 20-24
The day is centered around highlighting experiential learning opportunities with the traditional Junior Achievement BizTown venue, such as running a business. There will also be activities centered around philanthropy and entrepreneurship.
What JA BizTown campers learn:
Financial Literacy: Fun ways to learn about saving, credit usage, investing, budgeting, and managing tools of the trade.
Entrepreneurship: Brainstorm, design, create, patent and market an invention or business of your very own. Hear real-life stories from Indianapolis entrepreneurs and inventors.
Work Readiness: Learn skills to prepare for life such as cooperation and problem-solving.
Philanthropy: Learn more about a chance to give back to the community and the importance of giving.
