The 14th Annual JAG State Career Development Conference is Friday, March 18th in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – The 14th annual JAG State Career Development Conference is a culmination of months of regional competitions, which focused on several disciplines critical to employment.

More than 150 high school students from around the state advanced to Indianapolis for a chance to earn monetary awards by showcasing the employability skills they have learned through the program.

The event will be held in person for the first time since 2019.

The event will be held at Ivy Tech Community College Culinary and Conference Center, 2820 N. Meridian St., in Indianapolis on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (EDT). The morning Keynote Speaker is Dr. Lorenzo Esters, Chancellor, Ivy Tech Indianapolis campus,

  • 9 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
  • 9:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.  – Competitions Held
  • 12:15 p.m. until 1 p.m. – Lunch
  • 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. – Closing Ceremony and Awards

The afternoon Keynote Speakers are Fred Payne, Commissioner, Department of Workforce Development; Janelle Duray, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Jobs for America’s Graduates

A group photo will be taken following the awards ceremony outside on the steps at approximately 1:45 p.m.
