BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton has shared a proposal with the Bloomington City Council outlining the need for new revenue.
On Wednesday, council members received a memorandum detailing the need for an increase in the Monroe County Local Income Tax (LIT) and the issuance of two $5 million general obligations (G.O.) bonds on a five-year cycle.
