MITCHELL – Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department firefighters along with firefighters from Huron, Mitchell, and the Department of Natural Resources are on the scene of a structure and field fire at 2275 Rariden Hill Road
Lawrence County Sheriff Department deputies are also directing traffic and removing people from the scene due to propane tanks exploding and live ammunition going off in the home.
A Seals ambulance crew was on the scene treating the homeowners who suffered smoke inhalation.
The homeowners were burning trash near the residence when the fire got out of control and spread.
