COLUMBUS — The Louisville and Indiana Railroad plans to restrict lanes on westbound State Road 46/3rd St. the evening of Tuesday, March 22, to make crossing repairs near Lindsey St. in Columbus.
The railroad will close two lanes at a time, with one remaining open to traffic at all times while work is in progress. Restrictions are scheduled to begin at approximately 8 p.m. and last two to three hours. Repairs will be rescheduled if needed due to inclement weather.
Drivers are reminded to use extra caution, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
