STATEHOUSE — Alliance of Indiana Rural Water (AIRW) presented State Sen. Eric Koch (R-Bedford) with the Commitment to Rural Water Excellence Award for his work to improve utilities in rural Indiana during their 2022 Spring Conference in French Lick.
Sen. Koch, who serves as chairman of the Senate Committee on Utilities, meets regularly with AIRW members who noted they appreciate his attention to the concerns of rural water and wastewater utilities.
“It is an honor to be recognized by the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water,” Koch said. “AIRW is an important voice for rural Indiana as we shape state water and wastewater policy for the next decade and beyond.”
Sen. Koch serves Senate District 44, which includes Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe counties.
