Thomas Oran Chapman, 74, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at his residence.
Born July 6, 1947, in Bedford, he was the son of James Nelson and Marilou (Guthrie) Chapman. He married Donna Jean Austin, on October 24, 1968. Tom worked as a truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean Chapman of Mitchell; sons, Thomas Nelson (Shelly) Chapman of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Brian Keith (Tammy) Chapman of Mitchell; step-son, Tony (Dana) Spradlin of Campbellsburg; siblings, Debbie Ann (Gary) Russell of Orleans Robert Nelson (Cynthia) Chapman of Mitchell; nephews, Allen Russell and J.R. Chapman; and 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren
His parents; step-son, Larry Spradlin; grandson, Caden Chapman; and nephew, Michael Gray preceded him in death.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30th at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Jim Bush officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
