MARSHALL TOWNSHIP – The Marshall Volunteer Fire Department hosted a Fish Fry to raise funds for the department, which will go towards maintaining the building, equipment, and provide stability for the department.
The Avoca-Marshall Township Recreation Park hosted the event, on a beautiful Saturday in support of the VFD, where members of the park board donated their time and energy to ensure the event was taken care of.
Community members came out to the event, which ended up running out of fish at 2:00 p.m. due to the overwhelming support from those in attendance.
