BEDFORD – River’s Edge Fellowship Church held a drive-through Easter Egg hunt Saturday for all to enjoy and celebrate the holiday together.
Cars lined up to meet the Easter Bunny before being directed to the field East of the Church Building, where they were each able to gather one dozen Easter Eggs, and receive a take-home activity to celebrate the day.
Each child was given an empty egg carton to fill up before returning to their vehicles and taking off with their take-home activities.
“We wanted to be able to remind the kids about what the holiday is truly about. We had two sections of Easter Eggs for the kids to get, some with candy and others with toys, before taking home a Resurrection Egg and activity for them to learn about the holiday and why it is so important,” said River’s Edge Kidzone Coordinator, Emily Cuba.
The event served a lot of community members and brought them together to celebrate the holiday and have fun while learning about the importance of the day.
