DAVIESS CO. — James Ware, who was injured in a hazardous materials incident at Eagle Railcar Services on April 1, passed away from his injuries on Easter Sunday.
According to Washington Police Department Detective Barry Hudson on April 1 around 8:30 a.m., dispatch was contacted by an Eagle Railcar Services employee saying a man was down on the property. Officials said the call quickly changed to an incident involving two men down on the property
According to Detective Hudson, first responders performed life-saving measures on both men before both were transferred to a hospital facility in Evansville.
The Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration says it is conducting a “safety compliance inspection” that could take several months.
