GREENE CO. – A Bloomfield woman died Monday in a head-on crash on State Road 45, just south of I-69 in Greene County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police say 22-year-old Morgan Apple, was driving south on State Road 45 just south of I-69 at around 4:30 p.m. in a 2014 Kia Soul when she collided head-on with a northbound 2016 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck driven by 68-year-old Jeffrey Euler, of Bloomington
Apple was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Euler was taken to the hospital after the crash. The police did not provide any information on his condition.
The crash is still under investigation and police have not said what led to the accident.
State Road 45 was shut down until just after 9 p.m. for the reconstruction of the accident by the Indiana State Police
