INDIANA – A scorching heatwave could bring triple-digit temperatures to the central U.S. this week.
Unseasonably warm weather is expected today from eastern Colorado to southern Indiana, pushing temperatures 15-to-25 degrees above normal and challenging record highs.
The heatwave will expand Thursday into Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin, where temperatures could reach the 90s.
Hundred-degree temperatures are possible from east Texas to central Missouri tomorrow, and forecasters warn that high humidity could make it feel even hotter.
