INDIANA – Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Marion County to honor the life and sacrifice of Richard C. “Hank” Potter of Indianapolis. Hank Potter served as the Engineer of the Wayne Township Fire Department since 1999. He remained the Engineer on Ladder 82 until his death. Potter died in the line of duty on May 10, 2022.
Flags should be flown at half-staff sunrise until sunset on Thursday, May 19 in Marion County. Gov. Holcomb is asking businesses and residents in Marion County to lower their flags.
