JACKSON CO. – The Jackson County Public Library’s Oceans of Possibilities summer learning program will begin on May 31 and run through August 1 at the Seymour, Crothersville, and Medora libraries and on the Discovery Bus.
The program is free and open to all ages through adults.
Participants may sign up online or at the library by clicking here or by downloading the Readsquared app available for Android and IOS.
All participants registering online are automatically entered in a drawing for a chance to win an LED jellyfish lamp.
Participants can earn prizes at 300, 600, and 900 points. Points are accumulated based on how many minutes a person spends reading.
Readers can enter for up to five grand prize entry slips can be earned for additional reading. Grand prizes at each location this year are a one-year family membership to the Indianapolis Zoo or a poolside/beach bundle, which includes a $25 Walmart gift card. Prizes included Nintendo Switches and Rokus that library patrons could check out if enough points were earned as a community.
