BEDFORD – Bedford Parks Department Director Jimmy Jones provided an update on the renovation of the Wilson Park Shelter House during the regular monthly meeting Tuesday afternoon.
Three of the entryways have been completely refurbished with new wood and shingles as part of the ongoing renovation efforts of multiple facilities throughout the park system.
The entryways of the shelter house had been in place for many years and had begun to show their age and the wear and tear of the weather as the wood was beginning to rot, causing safety concerns.
