VIGO CO. – Vigo County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased individual that was involved in the fatal accident on Interstate 70 at the two-mile marker eastbound. The individual has been positively identified as 51-year-old Grady Thomas Bradford of Las Vegas, Nevada
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information to release at this time.
On May, 20th at approximately 6:55 p.m., the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post responded to the area of Interstate 70 eastbound near the two-mile marker, to investigate a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of one individual.
A preliminary investigation by Trooper Austin Roberts revealed that a 2015 Dodge pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near the two-mile marker. For an undetermined reason, the vehicle left the roadway and ran off the south side of Interstate 70 striking a large tree and coming to an abrupt stop. The impact of the accident caused fatal injuries to the driver Grady Bradford. There were no passengers in the pickup.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be contributing factors to the accident.
