Carmen Runyon, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2022, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born January 20, 1946, in Wahiawa, Hawaii to Francisco and Solidad Vallejos. She married Tony Runyon on August 31, 1989. Before her illness, she enjoyed volleyball, racquetball, and working outside on their farm.
Survivors include her husband, Tony of Bedford; five children, Pamela (Sharon) Massette, of Corte Madera, CA, Ryan Massette, of Bloomington, Angie (Darin) McCullough, of Heltonville, Michael (Dwight) Massette, of Savannah GA, Erin (Daniel) Snyder, of Woodstock GA; eleven grandchildren, Teal (Lacee) Turpin, of Ellettsville, Keeley Massette, of Noblesville, Taylor (Andrew) Tomlinson, of Mitchell, Andrew Massette, of Bloomington, Adam Massette, of Bloomington, Gabby Massette, of Bloomington, Morgan (Kyle) Cessna, of Mitchell, Corbin (Charlie) McCullough, of Heltonville, Conner McCullough, of Heltonville, Addison Snyder, of Woodstock GA and Christian Snyder, of
Woodstock GA; ten great-grandchildren, Jayden Abel, Dwayne, Brantlee, Kalani, Daxton, Kinslee Turpin, of Ellesttville, Daxx Wynne of Noblesville, Winston Tomlinson, of Mitchell, Mack Cessna, of Mitchell, Mabel McCullough, of Heltonville; siblings, Marlene Nichols, of Mililani, HI, and Angie Glossa, of Chicago IL, several nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Guy Massette; her sister, Lillian Vallejos, and her brother, Herbert Vallejos.
The family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
