James Oliver “Jimmy’ King, 70, of Bedford passed away at 3:00 a.m. on May 25, 2022, at Hanover Nursing Center in Hanover.
He was born in Bedford on July 17, 1951 to William “Bill” King and Jessie (Buchanan) King.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Hanks of Oolitic, nieces, Kortney Stigall and Kaci Hanks, nephew, Jerrod Hanks, and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Virgil “Billy” Dalton, grandmother, Laura Buchanan Dalton, grandfather, Jess Buchanan, and one niece, Kristi Jane Hanks.
Cremation was chosen, with a family graveside service at Dive Cemetery.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
