BEDFORD – A free electronic recycling event will be held on Wednesday, June 8th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at GM Bedford Casting Operations.
Most electronics are 100 percent recyclable, and most households have older electronics taking up valuable space on shelves and in closets.
You can recycle most electronic waste for free thanks to General Motors’ environmental team at GM Bedford Casting Operations at 105 GM Drive in Bedford.
The GM Environmental Team offers FREE electronic recycling for most items with a power cord or circuit board including the following items:
- Cameras
- Printers
- CD Players/DVD Players Radios
- Cell Phones/Smart Phones Small Home Appliances
- Computers/Keyboards/Mouse
- Other Electronic Devices
- Gaming Consoles/Systems
The following items will not be accepted:
- Batteries
- Refrigerant Units
- Light Bulbs
- Small Engines
- Smoke Detectors
- Thermostats
