CAMPBELLSBURG – On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Vine Street in Campbellsburg for a male subject lying in the roadway.
Upon arrival, they observed a juvenile male lying in the roadway, bleeding from his head and back. The subject was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Officers then used security camera footage from the area to determine that the juvenile male subject had fallen off of an all-terrain vehicle, driven by another juvenile male. The incident is currently under investigation.
Deputy Paul Reyling is the lead investigator and was assisted by the Campbellsburg Marshal, Indiana State Police, Washington County Ambulance Service and the Campbellsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
