LAWRENCE COUNTY – The 2022 Ugly Duck Derby is set to kick-off this Wednesday, June 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Milwaukee Depot located at 1401 J St near the Downtown Square.
Wednesday night’s kick-off will offer a special discounted rate if you purchase 40 duck tickets. You will be able to purchase 40 duck tickets for the price of only $100! After this kick-off night, your $100 will only buy 26 duck tickets. Not only does your ticket purchase enter you for the chance at winning the $4000 grand prize but if you purchase the 40 for $100 you will also be registered for a chance to win a vacation giveaway to Branson, Missouri. Tickets for this giveaway can be purchased at the Depot up until 7:00 p.m. The winner of this magnificent giveaway will be announced on-site at the depot at 7:15 p.m.
What’s a celebration without food! FREE food! Stop in and get your duck tickets plus grab a free hotdog or nachos among some other food favorites that will be waiting for you.

A grand prize drawing for $4,000 will take place at John Lowery Municipal Pool on Saturday, July 30th. Additional prizes will also be drawn in conjunction with the ticket number of each participant. This event will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with additional prizes such as:

The Duck Derby is an important fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County. The club offers several programs and athletics that support the youth of Lawrence County of all ages.
The club offers a variety of educational programs and after-school programming helping children with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and even activities to keep the youth active and physically fit.
