Mary E. Shaw, 74, of Bedford passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 8:45 a.m. at her residence.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 25, 1947, to George and Virginia (Bonney) Barmore. She married William Shaw and he preceded her in death. Mary worked at RCA in Bloomington and PTS Electronics in Bloomington; she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her children, James (Kathy) Shaw of Bedford, Richard (Jennifer) Shaw of Vincennes, Kevin Shaw of Bedford, and Jennifer (Dean Gerkin) Jackson of Oolitic, a special niece, Carolyn (Brian) Cummins, 12 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren. One brother, Randy Barmore
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Sonny, Bobby, George, and three sisters, Margaret, Anita, and Carolyn, two siblings in infancy.
Mary wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest with her husband William Shaw at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford. Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
