Anita L. Hanners Batman, 83, of Shoals passed away on July 6, 2022 in Buffalo, New York.
She was born on September 22, 1938, in Elberta, Michigan to Louis Caviggiola and Ellen Louise (Blacklock) Caviggiola. Anita first married Jim Hanners and he preceded her in death, she then married Walter Batman and he preceded her in death in 2022.
Survivors include her children, Jamie Hanners of Evansville, Lori Moore of Bloomington, and Jim (Susan) Hanners of Buffalo, New York, ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim Hanners, husband, Walter Batman, four brothers, Louie, Bruce, Tony, and Michael, one daughter, Lynn Preese, and one granddaughter, Christina Hanners
Anita loved Bingo, reading, dancing, board games, card games, and watching game shows, she loved to travel, knit and crochet, and loved making Afghans for family members and lap blankets for nursing homes.
Funeral services will be on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
