NEEDMORE – Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies are investigating a possible injury accident in the southbound lane of State Road 37, north of the Avoca exit. The accident was reported just after 3 p.m.
Both Marshall and Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department and an IU LifeLine ambulance are on the scene. An Indiana State Police trooper is also on the scene.
The accident involves a car and box truck.
Traffic is moving slowly in the right southbound lane and moving into the left lane to avoid the accident scene.
